ChainEsport Disclaimer (Skill-Based Competitions • On-Chain Escrow • Refunds • Gas Fees)
1. General Information
This website and all related materials are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer or solicitation to buy securities or any other regulated financial instruments.
2. No Equity / No Securities
Participation in the ChainEsport Node Reservation Program does not constitute the purchase of equity, securities, or shares in ChainEsport SIA. Node reservations are not transferable securities and do not grant ownership rights in ChainEsport SIA.
3. On-Chain Escrow (Non-Custodial Funds)
ChainEsport is a skill-based competition platform. For matches that use on-chain settlement, entry funds are transferred directly from participants’ wallets into an on-chain escrow smart contract on BNB Smart Chain. ChainEsport does not custody, hold, or control player entry funds off-chain.
4. Match Cancellation & Refunds
A match may be cancelled and escrowed funds refunded only when permitted by the smart contract conditions and ChainEsport platform rules. When a permitted cancellation is executed successfully on-chain, the escrowed funds are returned to the original funding wallet address(es). ChainEsport does not charge a cancellation or refund fee. However, blockchain network fees (“gas fees”) paid to execute on-chain transactions are non-refundable.
5. Blockchain Network Fees (Gas) — BNB Requirement
BNB Smart Chain requires network fees (“gas fees”) for any on-chain action. Gas fees are paid in BNB by the wallet that initiates the transaction, are paid to the blockchain network/validators (not to ChainEsport), and are non-refundable.
Typical match lifecycle gas payments:
- Create + Fund match: the match creator pays gas
- Join + Fund match: the joining player pays gas
- Claim / Settle (winner claim): the claiming wallet (typically the winner) pays gas
- Cancel match (when permitted): the match creator pays gas
Recommended balance: Participants should keep a small BNB balance for gas. As a practical example, we recommend maintaining at least 0.01 BNB, and preferably 0.02 BNB, to cover several actions depending on network conditions.
6. Illustrative Scenarios Only / No Guarantee of Profit
Any financial forecasts, revenue models, ROI examples, or scenario outcomes shown are strictly illustrative only and are not promises or guarantees of future performance. ChainEsport does not guarantee that any participant or node holder will receive profits, income, or returns of any kind.
7. Risk Disclosure
Participation in early-stage blockchain projects and the use of blockchain-based smart contracts involves significant risks, including regulatory changes, smart contract vulnerabilities, network congestion, software bugs, market volatility, and adoption risk. Participants should only participate if they understand these risks and are prepared for the possibility of partial or total loss.
8. Regulatory & Eligibility (EU/EEA Focus)
ChainEsport SIA is incorporated in Latvia and intends to operate under the MiCA regulatory framework. Participation may be limited to eligible users (including age and KYC/AML requirements) and restricted jurisdictions may be excluded.
9. Testnet / Mainnet Notice (If Applicable)
Any testnet NFTs or testnet features are provided for demonstration purposes only and do not confer mainnet rights, fee claims, or operational authority unless and until replaced or honored by official mainnet issuance following applicable legal and regulatory conditions.
